Wall Ruru Soda Blue Sand

A beautiful ceramic wall ornament by Bob Steiner celebrating our native Owl, the Ruru. The Ruru, also known as a Morepork (Ninox Novaeseelandiae) is New Zealand's only surviving native owl and their distinctive call is often heard in the forest at dusk and throughout the night. Its Māori name, Ruru, reflects this call.
