Aromatherapy Facial Steam Jar

Using warm steam on your face opens the pores to allow for deep cleansing. It also helps to promote blood circulation and can assist with balancing the complexion. Facial Steaming can also be especially helpful for those with oily or acne prone skin and was considered an important part of a beauty regime for the women of ancient Greece & Rome.

Anoint Aromatherapy Facial Steam contains flowers and herbs combined specifically for their purifying properties. The blend of botanicals comprises of Rose, Calendula & Cornflower Petals, Rose Hip, Lavender Rubbings, Lemon Balm. Essential Oils of Rose Geranium, Lavender, Ylang Ylang & Bergamot add calming and relaxing aromatherapy properties.

  • Pour contents into a bowl, cover with boiling water and allow to cool for a few moments. Drape a towel over your head, close your eyes and find a comfortable distance from the heat. Relax and allow the steam to carry the herbal properties and Essential Oils into your skin.
  • After ten to fifteen minutes, rinse with lukewarm water and pat your skin dry.
  • You can reserve the water from your facial steam and use as a toner by straining off the petals and keeping the floral infused water in your refrigerator.
  • Store your Aromatherapy Facial Steam Jar away from direct sunlight.

Anoint

Anoint’s founding belief is that nature knows best - all of their products are free of plastic, palm oil, and are of course, Cruelty Free. Beginning in a small eclectic gallery on Waiheke Island called Upcycle - initially all of their packaging was upcycled from damaged books, maps or unwanted sheet music! As their range continues to grow, they have adopted a packaging philosophy of ‘reusable, recyclable or compostable’. To achieve a more self-sustainable lifestyle, Anoint is now based in Kerikeri (since 2017) in the beautiful Bay of Islands. This family owned business continues to evolve as they build their eco-friendly, off-grid forever home and studio for Anoint across twelve acres of land - where each and every product is totally handcrafted here in Aotearoa.
