This is inspired by a saying my lovely friend shared with me. Sometimes we feel like things are just not working out, and we may want to make changes: move house, apply for a new job, or embark on a new relationship or friendship. But the saying "Wherever you go, there you are" relates to checking in with yourself first before you move. You may end up making the change, yet realise when you get to your new destination you still have that feeling of discomfort - just in another place! The Kingfisher is looking out the window at a new island, but when it moves to the island, it finds the outlook is the same.
