Nick Feint is an artist committed to sustainability in business and every day life and has received awards for his conscious efforts to run a successful business model with a strong ethos to reuse and recycle. Nick's eco glass range is a product of this journey where he has developed a range of beautiful heirloom jewellery from discarded Bombay Sapphire bottles.
Based in the remote Golden Bay area of Nelson he is surrounded by national parks and lakes. The incredible beauty of this location has a deep impact on Nick's practice conceptually and can been seen in his delicate replications of native flora and fauna. It also provides constant motivation for him to honor the environment by creating jewellery in a way that celebrates the land without destroying it.
Stone Arrow provides for the income of the Feint family Nick, Sybille, Theo and Marty as well as for several local workers.
"We are committed to being a socially and environmentally sustainable business and are a member of the NZ Sustainable Business Network. We aim to minimize our footprint on the world in any way we can." Nick has recently opened his own South Island based gallery where he exhibits his own works along side other artists. "I started Stone Arrow Jewellery about 20 years ago. We have come a long way in that time and now run a fantastic studio with a proven record in producing quality original Jewellery designs and providing friendly service. We have a lot of fun and put in a lot of hard work coming up with new designs on a regular basis and providing the best service that we can."
