Ira Mitchell

Born in Queenstown, Ira Mitchell is a nomadic artist who constantly moves to create images in inspiring locations. Her work is autobiographical, characterised by bright, bold colours and visible brush strokes, depicting her life, struggles, highs, and lows. Ira is also a trained teacher, BFA graduate, and artist-educator for GOLDEN paints of New York, travelling annually to train and exhibit.
