The Karearea might be our most threatened bird of prey, but that doesn’t hold them back because they are relentless. From high vantage points this fast-flying raptor launches into a dramatic chase after its live prey.

Created by industrial designer Phil Walters, began as a guerrilla street art project in New Zealand’s North Island. Walters’ steel artworks, inspired by his love for street art and native birdlife, celebrate the idea that art can be found everywhere, not just in galleries.
