Sarah Ellen
Sarah had absolutely no intent on becoming a visual artist. Instead she stuck to the stage, her books, and of course, daydreaming inside her own head. It was pure dumb luck that she got her hands on an iPad and, in a desperate attempt to procrastinate from doing her day job, she started to draw, and draw, and draw. Now here we are, 3 years later with a collection of digital images that reflect the rich colours and contexts of multicultural Aotearoa. Sarah is a storyteller by nature, so each image endeavours to reflect a person, place, or feeling. Feel free to reach out to her if you'd like any context behind her pieces.
