Seeing the Light was inspired by an exhibition at the Auckland Art Gallery from “Tate with Light”. In this piece, there is darkness in the room and light streaming in through the window. Representing dark moments in our lives. If we didn’t have the dark moments, then maybe we wouldn’t appreciate the light. The flower is peering from the dark to the light and the bird represents freedom once we see the light.
