Karl Maughan

Karl Maughan, a graduate from Auckland University's Elam School of Fine Art, is well-known in contemporary New Zealand art for his distinctive works. Over the past twenty years, he has focused on the garden theme, using a unique technique of pulling apart, cutting up, and manipulating photos to evoke specific moods. His work reflects his childhood memories of gardens and the outdoors and resonates with the Kiwi lifestyle of appreciating The Great Outdoors.
