Julian Hindson

Dreaming of being an artist since he was 16 years old, Julian Hindson has now been creating for over 30 years, typically working in both traditional and digital painting mediums. Julian’s work combines the styles of abstract landscapes and backgrounds, coinciding with iconic kiwi native birds - creating layers of opaque and transparent glazes, emphasised by bold colour choices and striking visuals. Heavily featuring photorealistic digital painting techniques, which stem from his career in graphic design and art direction - Julian continues to create full time, and is based in Auckland working from his at home studio.
