Here at creative & brave, we understand the importance of choosing the right gift for your special someone to show your appreciation of them. A group close to our hearts is Te Huia, members of the Taumarunui Iwi who established this organisation in an effort to raise funds to send the young boys of the Iwi to the In Zone Educational Program. Growth of this effort has seen the young boys attending schools outside of the district through scholarships for higher education. We love sharing the story of Te Huia not only because we are completely humbled by the collaboration of this group of people, but also because we truly believe that these cushions are a next level gift with deep meaning. A highly loved and embraced artist here at creative & brave is Angie Dennis- self taught artist based in Auckland. Angie has been painting since 2002, utlising her knowledge in environmental science to nourish her love for New Zealand flora & fauna as inspirations for her artwork. Her work is admired globally and we couldn’t recommend Angie’s work enough. We recommend the framed versions of Angie’s work as the extra detail really enhances the beautiful colours.
