One of our most recognisable artists, with his signature combo of nostalgia, humour and pop culture - Glenn’s art always proudly celebrates what it is to be a Kiwi! G. Jones Art is a full family operation, with Glenn creating the artworks, his wife Julia taking care of the business end and their three kids providing plenty of inspiration. Glenn has worked previously as a creative director on some of Aotearoa’s most well-known brands, from Tip Top to Lotto. But in the mid 2000’s some quirky t-shirt designs led to the creation of his own US-based t-shirt brand, which caught quite a bit of buzz ! After some work with Google and a job offer from Facebook, he’s now based at the GJ studio in Auckland where the company continues to create an amazing range of pieces. And while the medium might change (from art prints to kites and coffee cups) they’ve always had the same aim: to make people smile.
